A nationally operating organisation is embarking on a major ERP transformation, moving away from manual processes and legacy systems to a scalable, process-driven platform. The Project Manager will lead the full delivery lifecycle, partnering with the business and a specialist ERP vendor to roll out the platform across several operational arms - including production, logistics, and field-based services. This role suits someone who’s hands-on, commercially aware, and experienced in navigating change within complex, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of a multi-phase ERP rollout across multiple business units.
- Drive project planning, scoping, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
- Lead stakeholder engagement across operations, finance, production, and leadership.
- Oversee integrations (including EDI with major partners) and ensure system/process alignment.
- Collaborate with internal SMEs and influence change adoption in a legacy-heavy environment.
- Provide tailored project reporting and status updates to senior stakeholders.
Skills Required
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end ERP implementations.
- Strong vendor management capability and the ability to drive external delivery.
- Experience working across production, manufacturing, or logistics-based businesses.
- High level of resilience and adaptability in low-documentation, change-sensitive environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with long-tenured teams.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms like Sage X3, SAP, or MS Dynamics is desirable but not essential.
