Our client is a well-known business in the utilities space. Due to business growth, the need has arisen for a Payroll candidate to support the team on a permanent part-time basis. Working within a small team, this role will be suited for those that are able to hit the ground running and are looking for their next challenge whilst working in a fast paced and family feel environment.
Position Description
The successful candidate will responsible for but not limited to:
- End to end payroll management, processing and reconciliation for Australia including fortnightly and monthly payroll
- Fortnightly Payroll for NZ staff
- Update and maintain payroll records
- Entering new employee details and contract changes
- Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
- Month end payroll requirements such as GL coding, Super & Tax
Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar payroll position along with the following attributes:
- 5 years experience in a standalone Payroll Position
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Experience in Award Interpretation
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Friendly & Vibrant personality
