Due to the growth and success of the company, the business is currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to play a key role and assist with the implementation of a new time & attendance system, as well as integration of business operations. Position Description:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your duties will include:
- Assist the Payroll Manager and relevant key project stakeholders in the payroll/T&A system implementation
- Facilitate change and configuration enhancements, user acceptance testing, effectively plan and manage communication changes to impacted stakeholder
- Configure, maintain and customise the payroll systems to meet the company’s payroll, finance and legislative requirements
- Provide high quality customer service through accurate information and support to stakeholder enquiries
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in payroll processes and systems, supporting the delivery of on-time, accurate pay outcomes
- Train the company employees to efficiently & accurately use the new system
- Reporting duties
- Assist with the accurate and timely processing of company payroll when required
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant will have similar proven experience in a Payroll role as well as possessing:
- Prior experience in playing a key role in Payroll/T&A system implementations
- At least 5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of payroll functions, procedures, and processes
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- High level communication skills and a reliable attitude
- Strong organisational skills and excellent time management skills
