An open opportunity for an analytical Payroll Accountant to initially join the team on a 6 month contract basis. This is an opportunity with a Multi-National FMCG organisation, who are a leader in their market and based in Macquarie Park. You will ideally have a payroll background and accounting knowledge to work closely with the Payroll Manager to clear a significant amount of payment backlog and investigate in the system.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting into the National Payroll Manager and working closely alongside the payroll team, this role will be responsible for:
- Payroll data analytics
- Looking after all payroll accounting reconciliations
- End of month payroll tax and superannuation reconciliations
- Processing month end and year end closure
- Investigative work on Super, IRD and Union Payments
- Payroll reporting and analysis
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience with month end payroll duties, ideally within a large scale business
- Payroll processing experience to support the team
- SAP Ideal, particularly Spinifex Reporting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good organisational skills
- Intermediate excel skills
