Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing while coordinating compliance activities and delivering training and workshops to support managers and employees. This role suits someone who enjoys combining technical payroll expertise with education and stakeholder engagement.
- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time for all employees
- Ensure compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and legislation
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
- Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation
- Manage superannuation, tax, and statutory obligations
- Support onboarding and offboarding from a payroll and compliance perspective
- Respond to payroll and compliance queries from employees and managers
- Develop and deliver payroll and compliance training sessions and workshops
- Support policy development, updates, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven experience in payroll processing and compliance
- Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, and statutory requirements
- Confidence in delivering training, presentations, or workshops
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
- Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience using payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
