Position Description


Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring all payments comply with Awards, EBAs, Fair Work, Superannuation, and legislative requirements.
  • Identifying and consolidating payroll compliance risks and issues.
  • Maintaining award data and ensuring wages align with industrial instruments.
  • Liaising with Systems teams to implement payroll changes.
  • Responding to escalated payroll compliance queries.
  • Developing frameworks for payroll governance and compliance controls.
  • Conducting internal audits and implementing recommendations.
  • Providing training and support to payroll teams on compliance matters.

Candidate Profile


The successful candidate will have:
  • Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and award interpretation.
  • Proven experience in payroll compliance, including Superannuation and Payroll Tax.
  • Experience with large payroll systems (EC/ECP preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
