Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and leading a team of 6 direct reports, 10 indirect, your role will involve but not be limited to the following:
- Managing payroll compliance, processing, and reporting
- Overseeing deductions, salary packaging, and government reporting
- Leading audits, reconciliations, and WorkCover payments
- Driving continuous improvement and system optimisation
- Partnering with internal stakeholders across Finance, People & Culture, and ICT
- Mentoring and developing payroll team members
- $170k + super

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Significant payroll experience in a complex, multi-entity environment
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with Preceda (Dayforce a bonus)
- Knowledge of relevant Awards, EBAs, and legislation
- High attention to detail and analytical capability
- A collaborative and strategic mindset
