Our client is a well known retail organization that has been growing exponentially. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer who has prior end-to-end payroll experience using Preceda to join their supportive and growing team on a permanent, full-time basis.
About the role:
This role, as part of the payroll team, will be responsible for the processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls with a focus on the NZ payroll. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- End to end payroll process
- Compliance of payroll systems
- Undertaking Payroll analysis and reporting
- Provide confident, timely, and accurate advice
- Monthly and end of year reconciliation
You will demonstrate:
- Extensive track record in payroll processing
- Prior experience with Preceda is required
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel and data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven organisational and time management skills
- Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible in nature
- Strong skills in the documentation of processes.
- Ability to work in a semi-structured environment and do what it takes to achieve desired results
