The Role
Reporting into the Payroll Manager and working within a medium sized team, your role will include the following:
- Payroll processing for close to 10,000 employees across the team
- Interpreting all relevant awards, EBAs and entitlements
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and superannuation payments
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Assisting the team to work together to achieve common goals to a high standard
- Partnering with the leadership team to drive process improvements
- Providing high quality customer service through accurate information and support to employee and stakeholder enquires
- Supporting the Payroll Manager with end of month responsibilities, reconciliations and additional duties
You will have the following attributes:
- Previous experience in a payroll role using Ascender
- Confident when dealing with stakeholders both internal and external
- Able to take initiative and accountability for assigned task
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong MS Excel numeracy skills
