The Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to provide temporary support to our payroll team for a period up to 6 months. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running in a high-volume environment, with a strong grasp of payroll systems and retail industry awards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees
- Interpret and apply the Retail Award for payroll compliance
- Respond to employee queries through ServiceNow in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments as needed
About You:
- Demonstrated payroll experience within a retail and high-volume environment
- Strong working knowledge of ADP, Kronos, and Excel
- Ability to interpret the Retail Award accurately
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
