The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our clients payroll team on a permanent basis. An excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing payroll function within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end processing of the monthly salaried payroll for approximately 500 employees
- Managing terminations, redundancies, and entity changes
- Handling escalated payroll queries promptly and professionally
- Maintaining and updating payroll systems and records with accuracy
- Managing leave, sick, and overtime reporting
- Preparing reports to meet internal and statutory obligations
- Processing salary variations, pay increases, and back pay calculations
- Preparing and submitting payments for superannuation, WorkCover, and other payroll-related deductions
- Maintaining effective administrative procedures to support service delivery
- Identifying and recommending improvements to payroll policies, procedures, and practices
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar payroll position, along with the following attributes:
