Position Description
A leading business in the construction industry, continuing to grow and provide opportunities. Due to continued business growth, this company is seeking an experienced and motivated Payroll Officer to join their team in a permanent capacity.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your role will include but not be limited to:
- Coordinating monthly payroll for 1,000+ employees within a team-based environment
- Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business, efficiently managing employees’ queries
- Maintain integrity of payroll data and conduct robust audit processes
- Interpret complex awards and enterprise agreement provisions
- Processing of new starter and terminations
- Responding to any payroll queries
- Assisting HR with performance review cycles
- Assisting with end of month / end of year activities
Ideal Candidate
- Prior end-to-end Payroll experience in a high-volume environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment
