With continued growth and a forward-thinking approach, they are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their finance team, where you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll operations while contributing to ongoing process improvements.
  
Key responsibilities
Reporting to Finance team leader, this role includes but is not limited to:
  • Processing fortnightly payroll for 150 employees
  • Manage onboarding, termination, overtime, leave and salary packaging
  • Interpret EBA and awards
  • Assist with payroll reporting and other ad hoc responsibilities
  • Handling payroll queries from employees
  • Manage payroll matters including super, reconciliations, adjustments, and reporting
  
Ideal candidate
  • Has previous experience as a Payroll Officer
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll laws, tax requirements, superannuation, and regulatory compliance
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
