With continued growth and a forward-thinking approach, they are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their finance team, where you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll operations while contributing to ongoing process improvements.
Key responsibilities
Reporting to Finance team leader, this role includes but is not limited to:
- Processing fortnightly payroll for 150 employees
- Manage onboarding, termination, overtime, leave and salary packaging
- Interpret EBA and awards
- Assist with payroll reporting and other ad hoc responsibilities
- Handling payroll queries from employees
- Manage payroll matters including super, reconciliations, adjustments, and reporting
Ideal candidate
- Has previous experience as a Payroll Officer
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll laws, tax requirements, superannuation, and regulatory compliance
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
