Our client is an outstanding Australian organisation who have gone through some exciting growth. They are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to join their high performing and supportive payroll team in a team based part-time or full-time role. This role is open to candidates looking for either 4 or 5 days per week, on a permanent basis. They are based in Port Melbourne, and only require you in the office 2 days per week.
Job Details
Reporting to The Head of People & Culture, and working autonomously in the payroll space, you will be responsible for:
- Processing a payroll of 200 full time, part time and casual staff
- New starters and terminations
- Retail award interpretation
- Processing annual leave, sick leave and adjustments
- Handling payroll queries
- Other ad hoc duties
Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have:
- Proven experience working in a payroll position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a team based environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
- Analytical skills and an ability to think outside the box
