The Organisation
Our client is a global, industry leading organisation experiencing continued growth and is seeking a driven Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is as an initial 12 month contract, with longer term potential, giving you the opportunity to continue your growth working for a marketing leading organisation. You will be supported by a highly experienced team, with extensive training provided to help you succeed and progress in your payroll career. Based in Tullamarine, the role offers the convenience of working close to home, along with flexible working arrangement
 
The Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, the role will include but not be limited to:

• End to end fortnightly payroll processing for 500+ staff
• Maintain payroll, leave, and employee records, ensuring data integrity and compliance
• Ensure compliance interpreting various EBA’s and awards
• Manage new starters, terminations, final payments, and separation certificates
• Process superannuation, payroll tax and workers’ compensation payments
• Calculate and process bonuses, incentives, expenses, and ad hoc payroll adjustments
• Respond to & efficiently manage payroll enquiries in a timely manner
• Complete reconciliations and reporting duties
• Other ad hoc payroll related duties to assist the team

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes, however will not be limited to:

• Prior experience in a similar end to end Payroll position in a busy environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment 
• High attention to detail with excellent time management skills
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Customer service focused with enthusiasm and highly effective interpersonal skills

• Attractive salary of $85,000-$90,000 + super (experience dependent)
