A large, highly regulated organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Operations / Remediation Manager to provide hands-on leadership during a period of change. This role will play a key part in maintaining payroll continuity, supporting remediation activity and coordinating day-to-day operations across a large, complex payroll team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong payroll operations leader who is calm under pressure, highly organised and comfortable working in complex, large payroll environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide payroll operations leadership during a transitional period, overseeing a team of 20+ people.
  • Coordinate payroll activity across multiple teams and levels
  • Support payroll coordinators with day-to-day processing and issue resolution
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across a large, complex organisation
  • Oversee payroll operations within a highly regulated environment
  • Support remediation activities and operational improvements
  • Work closely with systems and payroll teams to ensure continuity and accuracy
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven payroll operations management experience within large, complex organisations
  • Experience in payroll remediation or compliance environments highly regarded
  • Must have minimum of 5+ years experience in a Payroll Management position leading a large team.
  • Strong SAP payroll experience is highly regarded
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and people leadership skills
  • Calm, controlled and operationally strong, particularly during periods of change
  • Confident communicator, able to manage stakeholders and sensitive matters
