We are seeking a Payroll Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end payroll function within a fast-growing, privately owned food business.
It is a standalone position with full accountability for running weekly and monthly payroll for approximately 600 employees.
The Role
- Manage the full end to end payroll function, running weekly and monthly payroll.
- Lead post payroll reporting, analytics, and compliance activities
- Processing annual leave, sick leave and adjustments
- Monthly payroll reconciliations including payroll journals and GL reconciliations
- Handling payroll queries
- Ensure adherence to award interpretations and legislative requirements
- Other ad hoc duties
- 3+ years of end to end payroll experience in medium to large organisations
- Strong knowledge of Australian Payroll regulations and legislation
- Strong Excel capability with advanced reporting and analytical skills
- Confident interpreting awards within complex, award-based workforce environments
- Background in FMCG or Manufacturing is highly regarded
