A fantastic newly created opportunity has arisen for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join a highly successful national organisation headquartered in Western Sydney (Parramatta Surrounds). Working within a stable, long-tenured payroll team, the role will support BAU weekly payroll and contribute to improving processes, systems, and compliance.
The position suits an experienced payroll professional with strong technical capability, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a supportive and long-standing team.
The Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of weekly payroll for a national workforce
- Supporting the implementation of a new payroll system
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and providing exceptional customer service
- Identifying and contributing to process improvements and efficiencies
- Upholding accuracy, compliance and strong controls within the payroll function
- Strong experience in end-to-end payroll processing (senior, specialist or manager level)
- Exposure to payroll system implementations and/or audit processes (highly desirable)
- Background in large or complex payroll environments is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail, systems knowledge and technical capability
- Ability to work with empathy, patience and professionalism
