Position Description
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of a new payroll solution, whilst also uplifting the current payroll operations. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Take a lead role in the payroll / T&A system implementation to automate processes
- Identify and implement operational efficiencies where relevant
- Conduct high level system configuration and data migration
- Ensure accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
- High-level interpretation of payroll rules from historic system to the current / new system
- Offering a consultative approach to problem solving and advising on appropriate actions
- Provide high quality customer service through accurate information and support to stakeholder enquiries
- Train the company employees to efficiently & accurately use the new system
- Relevant reporting duties
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a Senior Payroll Specialist role, along with the following attributes:
- Prior experience in playing a key role in Payroll/Finance system implementations
- Demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of payroll functions, procedures, and processes
- Strong attention to detail and high level communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and work well under pressure
- Positive attitude and an ability to hit the ground running
- First class verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to hit the ground running with a positive attitude
