The Organisation
Our client is a market leading organisation based in Melbourne's South east, who are seeking an extremely passionate & highly skilled payroll professional to join their team. The business are going through an exciting growth phase, firmly establishing themselves as an employer of choice and seeking someone to join them during this transformation.

The Responsibilities
The role will report directly though to Human Resources, with the duties including the following; however, will not be limited to: 
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate end to end processing of weekly payrolls Australia wide
  • Interpreting differing EBAs and awards
  • Processing and calculating superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG
  • Assisting the team to work together to achieve common goals to a high standard
  • Partnering with the leadership team to drive process improvements
  • Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
  • Ensuring compliance, reporting and constant process improvements 

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will posses the following skill set, but will not be limited to:
  • Prior experience working in a senior payroll specialist position 
  • Excellent time management and people skills
  • Expertise and a wealth of experience managing high volume pay runs
  • Ability to lead from the front, with collaborative thinking 
  • Prior experience utilising large payroll systems and compliance
