About the Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, and working as part of a project team your duties will include:
- Act as a subject matter expert in Payroll, including Time and Attendance, Award Interpretation, Compliance, and Training, providing insights on business processes, strategic direction, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide advise and support to the Project Manager and team on system design/redesign, process workflows, queries, and issue resolution from a Payroll perspective.
- Contribute to the development of guidelines and procedures to optimise the use of new technology and enhance the end-user experience.
- Design and execute test scripts to validate Payroll-related business processes.
- Review and approve User Acceptance Testing (UAT) outcomes and related documentation for the Payroll function.
- Create and manage data and templates to fully leverage system capabilities.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure that functional deliverables meet required quality standards and align with business needs.
- Contribute to the creation of user documentation and intranet content, including reference materials for end-users.
- Support the delivery of functional training sessions for leaders and employees as needed.
- Assist in communication efforts, project closure activities, and post-implementation reviews.
About You:
To be considered successful as a Payroll professional in this business, you will have proven prior experience within a similar payroll role and project environment. The ideal individual will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to provide support & training in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail. You must have strong stakeholder management skills and highly effective interpersonal skills. You will have strong time management skills and prior experience in a busy payroll environment.
