Position Description
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for driving efficient and effective payroll processes, uplifting the current payroll operations. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Manage and maintain system access and configuration to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Perform high level system configuration activities, including data migration
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve system configuration and payroll‑related issues
- Liaise with the Payroll team, IT, and key stakeholders regarding system configuration and operational matters
- Support change management initiatives, including documentation and knowledge transfer
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance and support across the payroll function
- Serve as a key point of contact for system issues, upgrades, and user support
- Apply a consultative approach to problem‑solving, advising on appropriate and practical solutions
- Deliver high‑quality customer service through accurate information and responsive support to stakeholder enquiries
- Analyse current system usage and recommend improvements aligned to business priorities
- Train end users and support staff on system functionality, enhancements, and updates
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a Senior Payroll Specialist role, along with the following attributes:
- Prior experience in playing a key role in payroll implementation projects and system configurations
- Demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of payroll functions, procedures, and processes
- Strong attention to detail and high level communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to manage competing priorities and work well under pressure
- Positive attitude and an ability to hit the ground running
- First class verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to hit the ground running with a positive attitude
