Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in configuring, enhancing, and supporting client Payroll, WFM and HCM systems, whilst delivering tailored advice that supports process optimisation and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Configure payroll rules, pay policies, workflows and system parameters
- Support implementations, upgrades, migrations, testing and validation
- Provide client‑focused consulting, troubleshooting and solution design
- Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation and awards
- Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to automation and optimisation
- Collaborate with internal consultants and share best practice
Candidate Profile
You are an experienced payroll systems specialist with strong configuration capability and a consultative mindset. You enjoy solving complex payroll challenges and enhancing the way organisations use payroll and WFM technology.
You will bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in Payroll HCM configuration and/or project delivery.
- Experience with WFM platforms such as UKG, Kronos, Dayforce, or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, taxation, awards/EBAs and compliance.
- Proven experience across system testing, UAT, payroll validation and optimisation initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a consulting environment.
