Job Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Group Payroll Manager, you'll mentor a strong team and oversee a dynamic, end-to-end payroll function. Expect to be hands-on with:
- Leading and guiding a medium-sized payroll team
- Ensuring accurate weekly payroll processing (including pay adjustments and leave)
- Managing annual, long-service, and personal leave administration
- Onboarding new starters and processing terminations/payroll adjustments
- Producing insightful end-of-month payroll reports
- Decoding and applying award rules and EBAs
- Supporting the Head of Payroll with ad-hoc projects
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in a similar payroll leadership role as well as the following attributes:
- Large payroll system experience such as SAP, UKG, iChris is required
- Ideally experience within the retail industry or a similar industry
- Ability to hit the ground running
- Prior experience in interpreting EBAs and awards
- Excellent time management skills
