The Role
Our client is seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join them in their office based in the eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in delivering a comprehensive range of HR services tailored to their Victorian operations.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • HR Advice and Support: Providing expert HR advice and support throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to performance management and grievance resolution.
  • Investigations and Complaint Resolution: Conducting thorough investigations into employee complaints, ensuring compliance with legislation and procedural fairness.
  • Leadership Development: Mentoring and coaching managers on performance management and fostering leadership capabilities.
  • Wellbeing and Engagement Initiatives: Driving the implementation of wellbeing and engagement initiatives aligned with our workforce strategy.  
Skills and Experience
  • Resilience and Adaptability: Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Educational Background: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Proven HR experience within Disability, Community Services, or Health sectors.
  • Legal Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and awards, particularly the SCHADS award.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to facilitate performance management discussions.
  • Passion for Positive Change: A passion for effecting positive change and fostering an inclusive organizational culture.
