This role suits either:
- An experienced recruiter who can build quickly, or
- A motivated sales or service professional who wants to move into recruitment
- Trainee level around 70,000 plus super
- Experienced recruiters up to 100,000 plus super
- Exceptional candidates up to 110,000 plus super
You will have clear structure without a micro managed environment. For example:
- Early morning candidate calls to connect with educators around their long day care hours
- Daily seat profiling to source and qualify high quality candidates
- Structured business development mid morning to grow and re engage accounts
- Client meetings to understand culture and role requirements
- A focus on results rather than call numbers
You will report to the National Early Childhood leader, with strong support from the Brisbane State Manager.
Who we're looking for:
- The hiring manager is very open on background and is focused on the person more than years of experience. To be successful you are likely to:
- Have experience in recruitment or a related sales environment where speed to market and client management matter
- Show real hunger, positivity and motivation to build and grow a desk
- Be confident on the phone and able to build rapport quickly with a wide range of people
- Understand how to manage expectations, protect pricing and sell a service rather than simply discounting fees
- Enjoy talking to people in a warm, down to earth way. The early childhood space suits someone who is people focused and not overly rigid or analytical
- Be organised, reliable and willing to “pull your weight” in a small team environment
- Direct early childhood sector experience is a bonus but not essential.
