Our client is a specialist technical recruitment consultancy with a strong reputation across the engineering, resources and industrial sectors. With decades of industry presence and a deep, established client network, they partner with leading mining and civil organisations to deliver high-calibre contract talent across WA and beyond.

Take ownership of a high-performing engineering portfolio. This is a warm, relationship-led environment working with five major tier‑one clients, requiring no active cold business development. Instead, your focus is on nurturing existing accounts, consistently delivering on top-tier technical talent through end-to-end recruitment processes and providing exceptional candidate experience management and on-going contractor care.

This desk operates at pace, typically managing a high-volume of active roles at any given time, with contract assignments that often run for two years or more.

It is a high-value portfolio with the potential to generate significant annual revenue for a strong recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a warm portfolio of five major engineering and mining clients
  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across core engineering disciplines
  • Maintain deep relationships with contractors on long-term assignments
  • Conduct detailed, technical candidate qualification calls
  • Work proactively across a large, established internal database and advertising channels
  • Manage high-volume recruitment with 30–40 active vacancies at any given time
  • Support ongoing workforce planning and repeat contractor re-deployments
  • Identify opportunities to refresh and strengthen candidate pipelines
About You
  • Experienced recruiter with a background in engineering, technical or industrial sectors (essential)
  • Agency recruiters are highly encouraged to apply; internal recruiters with high-volume technical experience also well suited
  • Strong account management capability and the confidence to nurture long-standing client relationships
  • Enjoys high-volume fast-paced work with consistent technical placements
  • Passionate about contractor care and long-term relationship building
  • Comfortable focusing on warm client delivery rather than cold business development 
  • Brings energy, initiative, and fresh ideas to enhance sourcing and candidate attraction
