We are partnering with a large, complex organisation undertaking a major technology separation and modernisation program. They are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to play a critical integration and delivery-orchestration role across a highly interdependent, multi-stream program.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused PMO role (not a reporting or admin PMO) and will suit someone who thrives in high-risk, time-critical environments.
You will be accountable for ensuring the program operates as a single, integrated delivery, not a collection of disconnected streams. You will partner closely with the Program Director and senior delivery leaders to protect schedule integrity, manage dependencies and drive informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as the single source of truth across all delivery streams
- Drive cross-stream integration, sequencing and dependency management
- Actively manage critical path, constraints and delivery risks
- Lead an integrated RAID and decision framework, escalating based on time-to-impact
- Apply strong commercial and cost discipline, challenging progress and vendor claims with evidence
- Enforce delivery governance, iteration entry/exit criteria and milestone validation
- Lead integrated delivery forums and support program gate reviews
- 10+ years’ experience in senior PMO / program delivery leadership roles
- Proven ownership of Integrated Master Schedules in complex, multi-stream programs
- Strong capability across dependency management, critical path and scenario planning
- Confident escalating issues and driving decisions in high-pressure environments
- Strong commercial and vendor management acumen
