New position to grow the Product Category Management team within this hardwares business. This role is very relationship focused as you'll be building strong relationships with your suppliers working with their NAMs to curate the best ranges at great prices for the network of hardware stores, whilst discussing with the stores what their customers need and adapting stores offerings dependant on the stores.
Duties
- National remit with frequent mid week travel to do road trips and visit stores within the network.
- Doing walkthroughs of stores to identify category gaps and opportunities
- Hosting events with suppliers on new products, legislation, trends and improving service.
- Negotiations with suppliers to ensure great prices, rebate and PSA's
- Partnership focus from supplier to store is key for success.
- Experience with the hardware, hardgoods or building products
- Negotiation experience across PSA's/JBP's
- Range curate and review experience
- Previously working in a Category Manager, Product Manager or National Account Management Role
