About the Role
As Product Support Manager, you will be Lincom's national technical authority for the Komptech range of mobile and stationary equipment. You will be responsible for customer satisfaction, maximising uptime, and acting as the final escalation point for complex technical, warranty, and operational matters.
  
This is a rare opportunity to step into a national technical leadership role with a structured handover from the current expert. The role requires approximately 50% travel, with the ideal candidate based in NSW or VIC given the concentration of the customer base.
  
Key responsibilities include:
  • National technical ownership of all Komptech mobile and stationary equipment
  • Providing advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting support to customers and service teams
  • Managing major technical escalations, warranty claims, and product campaigns
  • Acting as Lincom’s primary technical liaison with Komptech globally
  • Leading commissioning, site support, and customer technical training nationally
  • Supporting sales and service teams with product application, optimisation, and performance guidance
  • Developing internal technical knowledge systems, documentation, and training programs
  • Contributing to product strategy, new machine introductions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Profile
  
  • Trade qualified fitter (or similar mechanical trade) with diesel and hydraulic diagnostics expertise, or equivalent experience in a similar technical role
  • Experience supporting heavy mobile or stationary equipment in recycling, organics, forestry, mining, or similar industries
  • Exposure to high voltage (HV) systems highly regarded
  • Experience liaising with international OEMs
  • Strong diagnostic, documentation, and communication skills
  • Customer-first mindset with ability to manage priorities and delegate effectively
  • Confident, professional, and able to provide technical leadership with customers and internally
