About the Role:

Reporting to the Site Manager, as Production Manager, you’ll spearhead operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing, strict quality control, and team development. Your role involves leading a proficient team to achieve production targets, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team to meet production targets efficiently.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee operational processes to maintain optimum efficiency and productivity.
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to optimize operations.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to drive employee development.
  • Analyse data and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.
  • Plan and execute strategies to achieve site goals, including budget control and resource allocation.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience managing a team within a food or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent numerical and computer skills, along with familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of HSE, QA, and mechanical equipment standards.
  • Qualification in Engineering, Science or Food Technology desired but not essential.
