About the role:
This is a hands on, standalone planning role where you’ll manage the full production planning process across fabrication, electrical assembly, and dispatch. Working closely with the Operations Manager and wider production teams, you’ll play a critical role in aligning work orders with production schedules, forecasting material needs, and keeping things running to plan across a 12–20 week lead time.
- Coordinate production schedules across fabrication, paint, electrical, and assembly bays
- Work closely with a purchasing to ensure materials availability
- Participate in weekly production meetings and contribute to the S&OP meetings
- Align BOMs and work orders with production activity and customer needs
- Present forecasts and upcoming capacity plans to stakeholders
- Support continuous improvements following a recent ERP implementation

About You:
We’re looking for an experienced production planner who’s worked in a manufacturing environment. Ideally someone who’s worked in industrial or heavy equipment production. You’ll be confident managing planning independently, working with trades teams, and owning a schedule with long lead times and customisation.
You will have:
- Previous experience in production planning, preferably in industrial or equipment manufacturing
- Confidence working cross-functionally
- Strong ERP skills
- Solid forecasting and scheduling capabilities
- Great attention to detail and the ability to see a job through from start to finish
