About the Role:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate production plans across a 6–8 week horizon. You’ll work closely with production, purchasing, and inventory teams to ensure smooth operations, minimising downtime and supporting delivery performance.
In addition to weekly scheduling, you’ll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, monitor key metrics, and support site quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and managing 6–8 week production plans across specific production areas
- Building weekly plans tailored to machine capacity, inventory levels, and delivery timelines
- Monitoring performance and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
- Coordinating with purchasing and inventory to ensure raw materials are on hand and aligned to schedule
- Supporting stock reconciliation and seamless production flow
- Scheduling maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and production disruption
- Ensuring adherence to product specific quality standards and reporting non-conformances
- Engaging with internal stakeholders and customers to resolve scheduling issues
- Providing weekly status reports and contributing to project implementation or process changes
- Proposing improvements to productivity, safety, and quality processes
About You:
We’re looking for an experienced and detail oriented production planner. You’ll enjoy problem solving, working with data, and playing a key role in operational efficiency.
You will have:
- Experience in a similar planning or scheduling role within manufacturing
- Familiarity with managing a high number of SKUs and complex production schedules
- Background in tolling or make-to-order manufacturing environments (advantageous)
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and translate data into actionable schedules
