About the role:
The Project Manager will be responsible for various key aspects of the project, including contract management with vendors, identifying and managing risks, engaging stakeholders, transitioning manual processes to an electronic platform, leading discussions on enhancements and design changes, and managing risks and issues related to the tool. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive organisational efficiency and effectiveness through the successful implementation of the PPM tool.
- Ensure execution of the detailed schedule for the implementation, ensuring milestones are met and project timelines are adhered to.
- Manage vendor engagement and execution, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of project objectives. Ensuring the engaged provider is progressing to plan and maintaining scope and quality.
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to lead the implementation process into the new tool and supporting their adaptation.
- Transition manual processes into an electronic space, ensuring a smooth and efficient migration.
- Lead conversations and prioritisation efforts regarding enhancements and design changes to optimise the PPM tool's functionality.
- Provide day to day management and oversight of resources for the development, implementation and delivery of an eCMS solution, ensuring effective and high-quality fit for purpose products are delivered on time and within scope and budget
- Identify and manage risks and issues associated with the PPM tool implementation, proactively addressing challenges to ensure project success and minimise project disruptions.
- The ability to generate progress reports, correspondence, briefings and submissions regarding the development, progress and delivery of key deliverables, issues and core business as directed.
- Lead and manage the vendor providing ongoing support functions.
- Ability to negotiate and finalise vendor contracts that clearly outline deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, and performance metrics.
- Skill in building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors to ensure effective collaboration and successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies to oversee vendor engagement, monitor project progress, and ensure milestones are met within the agreed timelines.
- Capability to engage with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, communicate project updates, and ensure their support and involvement throughout the implementation process.
- Skill in identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with the vendor contract and project implementation to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success.
- Ability to lead discussions on enhancements and design changes to optimize the project management tool's functionality, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Proficiency in transitioning manual processes to electronic platforms, overseeing a smooth and efficient migration process while minimising disruptions to operations.
- Skill in proactively addressing challenges, conflicts, and issues that may arise during the vendor engagement, implementing effective solutions to maintain project momentum and success.
