About the Role
The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all food and beverage ingredients comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with cross-functional teams, this role oversees the development and maintenance of quality management systems in line with ISO, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
Key duties include ensuring adherence to all relevant food safety standards, managing internal and external audits, investigating quality issues, and implementing corrective actions. The role also involves collaborating with various departments to maintain ingredient quality, training staff on quality protocols, monitoring quality metrics, maintaining thorough documentation for traceability, and staying informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to drive continuous improvement and uphold product integrity.
Skills & Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in quality assurance, compliance, or food safety within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in audit management, risk assessment, and supplier quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train and influence teams.
