About the Company

A market leader in the Australian meat industry who have a strong presence in both the domestic and international market are reputable for their services. They are looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team in Regional NSW.

The Role  

As the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will report to the QA Manager, leading a team of QA Officers. You will play an integral role in the business ensuring compliance to site food safety and quality systems, driving improvement programs and initiatives, and leading the site Food Safety Culture Program.

To be successful in the role you will need to influence and drive a positive food safety and quality culture through the education of teams across the site. This will involve coaching and mentoring QA officers and identifying training and development for your team and the wider business.

Ideal Candidate

• Relevant industry experience ideally meat or anything relevant (3-5 years)
• Knowledge of SQF and HACCP.
• Strong on systems, and ideally has implementation experience.
• Leadership capabilities with the ability to influence all levels of the business from the floor to managers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to work between both morning and afternoon shift patterns.
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientated.
