About the role
The QC Laboratory Supervisor will lead a team of lab professionals to ensure accurate testing and maintain high-quality standards in a specialised manufacturing environment. You will implement and manage quality plans, monitor adherence to laboratory processes including LIMS and record collection, and support product trials and development initiatives.
You will also develop, mentor, and train your team, set KPIs, drive continuous improvement projects, maintain laboratory equipment, and make day-to-day quality decisions on low-level defects, providing guidance to ensure all products meet the highest standards.
Skills and experience
- 5+ years of experience in a quality/lab leadership position.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or have Australian PR.
- Strong stakeholder engagement as you will be communicating with the entire business.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering or Tertiary education degree.
- Strong people management.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and compliance.
