About the role

This role manages a busy and professional Front Of House area and is responsible for creating a unique and positive first impression for all visitors to the business. This role also provides support to the admin team and Directors. The role is responsible for maintaining client files, lodging tax returns, greeting clients, personally assisting Directors with email management and calendar bookings.

Responsibilities

As a polished and confident Receptionist/Administrator, you will be the face of the business and will play a pivotal role in its success and interactions with key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;
  • Meeting and greeting clients, including reception phone duties
  • Diary management, assisting directors, managers, and team members
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail and drafting correspondence
  • Packaging Tax returns, BAS, SMSF, and Financial statements
  • Client onboarding
  • Invoicing and processing payments
  • Processing ATO correspondence
  • Assisting with ASIC corporate compliance
  • Maintaining Xero client database
  • ATO and ASIC lodgements
  • Administrative support to the accounting team
  • Liaising with ATO and ASIC
  • General administration tasks including data entry, letter creation, scanning, and filing as required
  • Scanning work paper files
  • Secretarial file sorting and scanning
  • Working collaboratively as part of an administration team
  • Processes ASIC annual reviews
  • XPM job management
  • Tax portal management
  • MyGov Correspondence

Skills / Experience

You will have 2 – 3+ years’ experience in a similar role gained in an Accountancy firm. Other necessary key skills/experience include;
  • Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in a Receptionist/Administration role in a corporate environment
  • Previous experience in accountancy or financial services 
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems
  • Autonomous and motivated approach to work with the attitude that no task is too big or too small
  • Team-player with a positive and social disposition
