About this Role:
Join our 31-bed adult inpatient unit, providing intensive therapeutic treatment for patients experiencing an acute phase of mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients in acute setting
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist patients in identifying triggers, developing coping strategies, and managing their illness to support their recovery
- Monitor and assess patients' mental health status, reporting any changes to the care team
Key Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of mental health conditions and treatment approaches
