As a mental health nurse in this unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, intensive therapeutic interventions to adults facing acute mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients in both the Low Dependency ) and Intensive Care Area
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist patients in identifying triggers, developing coping strategies, and managing their illness to support their recovery
- Monitor and assess patients' mental health status, reporting any changes to the care team
Key Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum 3years of experience in inpatient setting
- Strong understanding of mental health conditions and treatment approaches
