We’re partnering with a major enterprise undergoing a large-scale technology transformation, and they’re seeking a Risk Analyst to strengthen their Technology Risk, Governance & Insights function. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a high-impact role that blends data analytics, governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement - all within a mature, forward-thinking technology environment.

This position begins as a 6-month contract with a strong view to transition to permanent employment.

About the Role
In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, quality, and visibility of risk and compliance data across a large Technology organisation. You’ll support governance forums, deliver automated reporting and dashboards, uplift training and awareness, and partner closely with risk managers, cyber, operations, projects, finance, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve data quality across risk, issues, controls, and actions registers.
  • Own monthly Technology Risk & Governance reporting, dashboards, and insights.
  • Analyse trends to identify systemic weaknesses or emerging technology risks.
  • Coordinate governance forums: agendas, papers, actions, and minutes.
  • Maintain risk policies, standards, templates, and training materials.
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing risk & compliance training across Technology.
  • Support risk partners on deep-dive reviews (e.g., vendor risk, resilience, technical debt).
  • Identify opportunities for automation and uplift across reporting and governance.
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
  • Experience in Technology Risk, Operational Risk, GRC, Compliance, or similar.
  • Strong data and reporting capability - ideally with Power BI, SQL, or automation tools.
  • Understanding of technology risk frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and produce actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Commerce, Business, Economics, or similar.
  • Certifications in ITIL, Agile, TOGAF, CPA, CA, or CFA (beneficial but not essential).
