The Sales Account Manager is accountable for driving negotiation and achievement of the company’s Distributor Partner Strategy plans in order to achieve sales & profit budgets, and defined strategic outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for distributor account portfolios based on the overall Asia strategic objectives in order to drive account and market share growth.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts in line with the Asia profit plan and ensure sales growth forecasts are achieved.
- Build and maintain strong mutually beneficial relationships with KitchenAid distributor partners.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and develop actionable plans.
- Effective Sell in and sell through the KitchenAid product with a strong focus on NPD and strategic imperatives.
- Serve as a consultant to distributor partners to improve net sales through sales growth and improved product mix. (Distributor countries include Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines & China)
- Manage revenue, Direct Contribution Margin (DCM) by category, and Trade Partner Investment (TPI) by account across the assigned customer base. Creating accruals where necessary.
- Negotiating pricing, product ranging, the in store “game plan” – plan to sell & merchandising programs.
- Maximise the outcome of promotional plans by planning activity uniquely tailored to each account.
- Analyse & communicate key insights from Sales performance, POS data, market trends and competitive landscape to internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal marketing, category and demand teams on sales forecast, GTM activity and demand planning.
- Liaise with the distributor & internal stakeholders on country wise product compliance and product certification process are maintained as required such as Food contact safety, product certifications are managed appropriately.
- Bachelor of Business, related discipline or extensive sales experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years proven sales account experience or distributor model experience.
- Business acumen & superior negotiation skills

- Strong presentation & relationship management skills
- Friendly, engaging and positive personality and approach
- High level of self-motivation & travel to Asia as required.
- Language skills - Mandarin or Korean or Japanese would be beneficial but not mandatory.
