A newly created opportunity exists for a commercially minded Sales Support professional to join a national organisation and partner with a large field sales group. This role suits someone who enjoys working with data, building reports and helping busy sales teams prioritise activity and make informed decisions.

The Role:
You will sit centrally within the Sales function and be responsible for converting sales activity into meaningful analysis and recommendations.

Key outcomes include:
• Building, maintaining and interpreting sales reports, trackers and dashboards
• Monitoring customer behaviour, lead follow-up and conversion trends
• Supporting pricing updates, new product launches and sales initiatives
• Preparing business review packs and post-meeting summaries
• Identifying territory coverage gaps and workload balancing
• Maintaining CRM and ERP data quality
• Providing practical insights and clear actions to Sales Managers and BDMs

Each week will offer variety, combining reporting, stakeholder support and improvement work.

Backgrounds that may be suitable include:
• Sales operations or sales support
• Commercial, business or pricing analysis
• Reporting or BI coordination
• Complex administrative roles supporting field teams

To be successful you will have:
• Experience supporting a large stakeholder group (40+ sales or field users is ideal)
• Strong technical capability in Excel (pivots, lookups minimum)
• Experience using a CRM or ERP platform (Salesforce, SAP or similar beneficial)
• Confidence analysing datasets and highlighting key insights
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in a trades, manufacturing, construction, industrial or product-led environment is highly regarded, but not essential.
