The Role

Reporting to the National Sales and Veterinary Strategy Manager, the Sales and Training Representative is responsible for building and strengthening Prime100’s presence across veterinary clinics and pet specialty stores throughout Western Australia.

This role focuses on developing trusted partnerships with key external stakeholders, delivering product education and training, driving distribution and sales growth, and positioning Prime100 as the specialist in the fresh pet food category. Working collaboratively with internal teams, you will play a key role in supporting Prime100’s continued growth trajectory within the veterinary and specialty pet channels.

Duties
  • Build, maintain and grow strong relationships with veterinary clinics, veterinary specialists, wholesalers, distributors and pet specialty retailers across WA.
  • Represent the Prime100 brand in market to increase distribution, awareness and market share.
  • Deliver product training and education to clinic and store staff to support confidence, advocacy and correct product use.
  • Contribute to overall sales and distribution strategy through effective territory management and execution.
  • Develop and manage a structured territory plan aligned to business objectives.
  • Analyse and report on sales activity, customer engagement and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, L&D/Technical Services and Customer Service.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
  • Participate in meetings, projects and initiatives as required to support broader business goals.
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in sales, account management or training within veterinary, pet specialty, FMCG or a related industry.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised with strong planning, time management and territory management capability.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Self-motivated, personable and able to work autonomously in a field-based role.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and professional approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Current driver’s license and willingness to travel across Western Australia.
