About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be the key player in developing and nurturing client relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and leading delivery teams to exceed client expectations. This role is perfect for someone with a knack for strategic thinking, a love for collaboration, and a talent for crafting winning proposals. You'll be at the forefront of transforming how organisations approach learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Research, identify, and perform outbound activities to secure meetings and progress sales. Monitor and qualify inbound leads, conduct sales meetings, and accurately document all prospecting activities and client interactions
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain relationships and fulfil ongoing client needs, always seeking to add value. Develop strategic plans for high-value clients and write winning responses to RFQs/RFPs.
  • Project Oversight: Work closely with clients as their advocate to ensure satisfaction throughout the process. Collaborate with the delivery team, including Project Managers, to deliver on promises and anticipate and resolve problems.
  • Solution Design: Participate in crafting effective learning solutions in response to client requests. Ensure the delivery team understands the client’s problem and solution, leading the design and delivery process.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide advice and suggestions for continuous improvement within the delivery teams. Leading projects, coordinating internal and client teams to deliver projects as promised.

  • Consultative selling skills and the ability to design solutions collaboratively.

  • Leadership skills to manage projects and coordinate teams effectively.
