The Role
We're looking for an experienced Scrub Scout Registered Nurse with a strong background in urology to join a collaborative surgical team. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art perioperative unit, supporting a wide range of procedures and contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Delivering safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care
  • Leading and mentoring ENs and AINs in the theatre environment
  • Supporting patients through recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care
  • Driving quality improvement and safety initiatives
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
  • Acting as a role model for clinical excellence and safe practice
 
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in perioperative nursing, with a focus on urology
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (unrestricted)
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
  • Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • QLD Working with Children Check (or equivalent, if applicable)
 
Desirable
  • Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing (or currently studying)
