The Role
We're looking for an experienced Scrub Scout Registered Nurse with a strong background in urology to join a collaborative surgical team. You'll be working in a state-of-the-art perioperative unit, supporting a wide range of procedures and contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.

- 7 operating theatres and 2 procedure rooms
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care
- Leading and mentoring ENs and AINs in the theatre environment
- Supporting patients through recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care
- Driving quality improvement and safety initiatives
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
- Acting as a role model for clinical excellence and safe practice
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 3 years' experience in perioperative nursing, with a focus on urology
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (unrestricted)
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards
- Valid working rights in Australia
- QLD Working with Children Check (or equivalent, if applicable)
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing (or currently studying)
