As the Senior Accountant, your core accountabilities lie in the ownership and management of the treasury function with the support of the Financial Controller. This includes:
- Establish and improve end to end cash management reporting including:
- Completion and delivery of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly cashflows
- Prepare budget / actual analysis of cash movements
- Provide insight and commentary around cash for Board reporting
- Collaborate with the commercial finance team to forecast cash on a regular basis
- Develop and maintain relationships with banking partners and debt holders
- Own and manage external reporting requirements to debt holders
- Own and manage the control framework across all banking platforms
- Support all payment processes as required including foreign currency transactions, interest and debt repayments
- Maintain all bank guarantees
- Month end tasks include:
- Supporting budget management
- Providing analysis and commentary of variances to plan or forecast
- Ensuring the integrity of financial results and provision of analysis and commentary of variances to plan or forecast
- Ensuring timely, accurate reporting requirements are upheld to support company’s business ambitions
- Ownership of a number of reconciliations
- Provide direct leadership, development and mentorship to one direct report, including signing off month end tasks and reconciliations
- Support the Financial Controller in shaping and maintaining a strong company culture
- Ad hoc projects, accounting and reporting requirements
The Successful Applicant
Ideally you will be CA or CPA qualified or close to completion and have excellent communication skills. You will also have proven Treasury management experience, as well as strong Excel, analytical and systems experience gained in a medium to large corporate, ideally within a fast-faced environment. Previous experience using Oracle, BPCS or HFM will be advantageous but it is not essential.
