An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a well organised and growing Healthcare business based in Sydney's CBD. Taking a hands-on approach, this role will focus on working closely with the Finance Manager and be responsible for producing the month end reports, analysis and commentary.
The responsibilities
The main duties include:
- Prepare and review month end processing including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Consolidate monthly, half-year and year end accounts and report packs
- Maintain control analysis and provide commentary and insights on consolidated P&L
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Preparation of Income tax including FBT and BAS
- Review and maintain internal controls
- Preparation of Monthly and fortnightly cashflow
- Assist with External Auditors
- AASB16 Calculations
- Review and assist with process improvements
- Qualified CPA or CA
- Proven working experience within a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast dynamic and changing environment
- Positive attitude and good communications
- Able to start at short notice/Immediately Available
