A leader in the retail field, this ASX-listed company boasts a portfolio of outlets across Australia and New Zealand. The business is experiencing growth via new stores, a unique product offering and strong consumer demand. A leading business unit (BU) of the group requires a motivated and hands-on Senior Accountant to join the Sydney CBD based team to support this growth and business strategy.
  
Reporting to the BU Finance Manager with a dotted line to the BU General Manager, you will be responsible for a wide remit of duties, including:  

• Manage and overseeing financial accounting responsibilities including Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Profit & Loss
• Prepare BAS, FBT, ABS and other statutory requirements
• Produce monthly management reports
• Proactively manage and direct team function to meet best practice
• Assist in the annual audit process
• Assist with budgeting, planning, and forecasting cycle
• Partake in project work assigned for 2022/2023

CPA / CA-qualified, you will have experience working in a retail and / or multisite environment; exposure to AASB 16 lease reporting will be highly advantageous.
