We are currently partnering with a major aged care developer/builder and operator who have secured funding for multiple large sites across Melbourne. With their current Design and Documentation Team at capacity, this group are looking to recruit a Senior  Architectural Technician.

Reporting to a Design Director and working as part of the in-house Design and Documentation team you will be involved in all stages of the project, from front-end design development through to coordinating construction delivery. During construction delivery this will be a office-based role are you will directly liaise with the builder and see how the development progresses day to day. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of detailed documentation and tender and trade packages.
• Liaise with the builder during construction to ensure buildability and that technical issues are addressed.
• Ensure that the quality of documentation is to a high standard, drawings are accurate, well structured and clearly presented. 
• Develop and maintain a professional and productive working relationship with all internal and external members of the project team.  

What we are looking for:

• Qualifications in Architecture or Architectural Technology
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the design and documentation of large scale projects
• Strong technical understanding of construction detailing
• Commercial or Apartment experience 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Revit proficiency is desiered
